First Private Lesson

$225.00

First Private Lesson

A focused, one-to-one lesson examining what is happening in your playing, movement, breathing, coordination, or use of effort.

We work directly with the question you bring. That may include tension, pain, fatigue, breathing, posture, coordination, or something that changes between practice, rehearsal, teaching, and performance.

Rather than beginning with generalized exercises, we look at what you are actually doing and how your body is organizing in the moment.

The lesson may draw from Alexander Technique and Body Mapping, depending on what is most useful.

You may leave with less unnecessary effort, clearer coordination, more responsive breathing, or a different understanding of a recurring tension or discomfort.

For some people, one lesson creates a meaningful shift. For others, it clarifies what further work would be useful.

90 minutes · Online or in Seattle · $225

Bring the question you are already noticing.
