A group of people having a discussion in a living room, with a human skeleton model standing in the foreground. Two men are speaking, one with his hands raised and the other listening with arms crossed. A woman with curly hair sits in the foreground listening. The room has large windows, a mantel, and a flat-screen TV on the wall.

Some patterns don't change with more practice.

Not because we aren't working hard enough. Because something is already organized in the body before the work begins. Before the first note. Before we step on stage.

This is what The Practice works with. Week after week, in real time, in your own body.

WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE

Twenty minutes of direct instruction on one concept. The rest of the session is live movement and performance work with that concept — not discussing it, feeling for it.

The following week builds on it. Over time, the framework accumulates in the body rather than in notes that are never revisited.

Sessions are live, recorded, and added to a searchable library within 24 hours. Attend live or work from the recording.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Weekly live sessions, Mondays at 4 PM PT
Full access to the indexed session library
Community of performers.

$250 per month. No contracts.
No commitments. Cancel anytime.

The value compounds. A subscriber who joins in month one accumulates a growing archive. A subscriber who joins in month twelve has a year of indexed, searchable content available on entry. That is intentional.

What Others are Saying

"After the accident, I didn't just want to get back to where I was. I wanted to understand why I could access excellence in some moments and lose it completely in others. This was the first time someone showed me the pattern instead of just managing the recovery."

Educator, trainer

"I finished performances I was proud of and still walked offstage feeling like a fraud. That gap didn't make sense until we looked at what was actually happening underneath it."

Professor, performer, musician

"Through this work, I've found I'm much more able to consider myself first. It's been very empowering, and it feels supportive. I'm feeling much more grounded in myself as I present information. This is what I believe, this is what I know, here it is. It's so much more relaxing, so much more calming."

“Shawn changed my life. I would not have finished my DMA without him and probably wouldn't even be playing the saxophone anymore if it weren't for his Alexander technique course and incredible instruction.”

The practice begins with one session.
The library grows from there.
